The OUAC is seeking a Communications Specialist: Recruitment and Events to work within a team to organize Ontario university recruitment events for universitieshaving an affiliation with the OUAC. Working with committees and associations, you will see events from their start to finish.

Job Responsibilities:
- Organizing, executing and summarizing virtual and in-person events around the province.
- Liaising with the many committees and associations having an affiliation with the OUAC to gather source information, feedback and direction on events.
- During the height of recruitment events (e.g., OUF), you are required to provide on-site and after-hours support and monitoring for both in-person and virtual events.
- Assisting recruitment committee members with organizing meetings, minute-taking, document preparation and archiving, emails, surveys, etc.
Qualifications Sought:
- At least 3 years of experience in event management.
- Basic understanding of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer software programs.
- High attention to detail required.
- Strong organizational skills and time management with the ability to juggle multiple, concurrent tasks.

- Disciplined, organized and reliable work habits.
- Creative and quality driven.
Qualifications Considered an Asset:
- Prior university employment.
- French-language skills.
Hours of Work:
- Monday through Friday, 4.5 days per week (32 hours).
- Hybrid remote work arrangements may be available after the probationary period.
